My own mixture 50% bright VA 30 % whole leaf perique briefly chopped in wifes blender (I know) 20% Stokkebye vanilla cavendish 201. Little white burley. Pressed in a pasta press for a few days into a crumble cake. Ask me how good that is. In my very best pipe Pierre Morel 9mm Cumberland lovat. The briar feels like petrified wood. In the zone.

This afternoon, I was playing around practicing my SMAW. Very tough to wild thin galvanized metal to chromed heavier pipe. After frustrating myself beyond any positive learning I grabbed the FCAW easy button and now have a reinforced shop table base.
The Ropp J11P went through a couple smokes of my Dark Sails mix.
I need to find a pipe that fits under a welding mask, as many times as I flipped mine down on my pipe😆

I recently wrote about how great Warped Scarecrow (2024) has been. For the past week or so, I have been smoking alternately Scarecrow and 2020 C&D Carolina Red flake With Perique. Having smoked a few bowls of 2024 Carolina Red Flake and having found it to really need some cellar time, I cracked one of my 2020 Red Flake with Perique. tins. If you have cellared some of the 2020, you are in for a great treat. The 4 plus years in the drawer have revealed an incredibly delicious Vaper, sweet, tart and full of rounded Vaper flavor. If you are lucky enough to have some, please open a tin and enjoy a tremendous bowl which I promise you will always remember.
I also wish the Jeremy and the other folks at C&D would consider making Scarecrow a regular part of their offerings rather than a bi-annual blend.
I have been smoking the 2020 in a Peterson Flame Grain silver spigot and the Scarecrow in Winslow Crown Collector smmoth Dublin.
