Long day yesterday. Lots of Pete’s smoked, lots of miles and lots of beautiful desert. Here’s a few photos. Sunrise, Big Horn Sheep and Pete’s.

Hey Digger, I love those desert pictures. While I would miss the hills and green of middle TN, I almost think I could live out there in all that wide open space......
Did you cover the miles for work or pleasure??

A third of a bowl left of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for the absent Abner the Eager. I should copyright that phrase. :)

Hmmmmm . . . . I'm not picking on you, Paul, so forgive me. But this one is coming at me like Ogopogo, the legendary lake monster in Kelowna, BC. Truthfully, I love this pipe and gotta get something like it one day. Ya see, my longstems are "normal" to me, eh?

As I went out to walk, I saw Abner the Eager snoozin' in the grass. I called to him, and his head jolted up, and he ran hard to me. I scooped him up and put him in the house. Then, I did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. On my last lap, it started sprinkling, so I brought the other ferals inside to get them out of the rain. An off diet lunch is next!

It still comes in just under 7 inches or 175 mm for you Canucks (no offense) but stays out of Churchwarden Territory. I think you’d find one enjoyable even if it conjures up a Nessie.

I recieved the Morgan Bones pipe today that I ordered 3 days ago....from California....I'm in NY.
I'm using it for aromatics as I explore the genre. It has a couple "pits" on one side, but the other side is perfect. I chose this shape because it was the longest at 5.8 inches. :)
I'm currently smoking PS Peaches &Creme.

Wish our mail service was that efficient. Love your idea of an "exploration pipe." Your example has a really beautiful shape - my eyes have always liked a quarter or half bent shape rather than full, and the figure on the wood brings to mind a lot of fine modern art, controlled but free. Dali came to mind, but a more like late Lawren Harris, one of the Canadian "Group of Seven." Great post!

No offence taken. I'm thoroughly Yankeeized in my yardsticks and thermometers. If God had wanted us to go metric, He'd a-given Jesus 10 apostles.
