I have been absent for a while. First I got hammered with an upper respiratory tract infection from hell that lasted a month followed by a week long appearance in Atlanta, Georgia. Today I am going to take this beautiful 'Cutty' pipe for a test drive that was a gift from a very dear friend in the U.K. The cigar holder and damaged wooden case were completely and expertly restored by a very kindly forum member for me whose work is better than anything I have ever seen before in my life. The cheroot holder has a new faux amber mouthpiece and is a wonder to behold even though I am not a regular cheroot smoker. My tobacco of choice that is contained in this 1930's Baccy Flap is late 2018 Coniston Cut Plug. Enjoy your Sunday chaps.

Did a set of walking reps on this beautiful Spring day, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Abner the Eager was waiting in the grass by the driveway when I went out to walk. I scooped him up, and brought him in to eat while I went walking. He's on top of my chair now. Watching the ball game and getting ready for lunch.

I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me to ask this before. I know from other threads that you listen to jazz (among other genres). In the WAYS threads, you often have what look like wonderful, original, vintage sheet music as backdrops for your pipes. Do you play jazz and/or collect jazz sheet music?
Sadly I haven't picked up my trumpet in well over 50 years. I have resigned myself to listening rather than playing.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast, unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple lunch. I'm almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Watching the ball game with Sleepy Suzy by my side, and Daisy the Feral Princess by my feet. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' on the other side of the room. The other two ferals are outside. Hit the record button on the Braves-Padres game so I won't miss anything while watching the Orioles.
