Hmmm . . . this one has escaped my eye. Don't remember seeing it before, and never seen a shorty quite like it. Looking at all that wood at the base, I'd imagine it smokes very well and quite cool, too. Like it!Back indoors for a bit, relaxing with a bowl of Ellipsis flake in a Bonfiglioli and a cup of coffee.

What really caught my eye is that pipe in the screen, and the composition of the entire post. Some 2020 Rustica I bought at the Chicago Show in allocate made by Jason Patrick. View attachment 392554
Sounds like a Pirate Kake with balls. Might just try that.Tonight I dug out a home blend I made maybe six or seven years ago. I took 50% Full Virginia Flake and 50% Latakia from one of the online tobacco retailers. Put them in wax paper, then between two chunks of wood and clamped them in the vice in the garage, as tightly as I could crank it, and left it for a few days. Ended up a black block of smoky goodness. It's still holding together in chunks, but easily rubbed out. Smoky, rich, oily, a true Lat bomb but smoothed out very nicely by the FVF. Refuses to bite, burns nicely, lots of smoke. I think I may have to make more when this jar is gone...
Like your method, too. That I can do!Hmmm . . . this one has escaped my eye. Don't remember seeing it before, and never seen a shorty quite like it. Looking at all that wood at the base, I'd imagine it smokes very well and quite cool, too. Like it!

Looking at that whole photo, I'd say you picked the perfect setting, time, beverage and pipe for a great smoke. Now, I don't know Pegasus, but I'd probably in that exact situation and pipe, smoke Magnum Opus. Close?Pegasus in a Radice Rind. Coffee View attachment 392472
Now that's a first! Never seen a picture of a pipe displayed while changing oil. It's a good photo, too.Had my Dark Sails mix fetching hay, and University Flake changing the commuter’s oil-both in the early Relief Grain Kaywoodie 04
