A thought struck me as I viewed this latest post of yours. We should start an in-thread lottery based on them including:
1. What shirt you're wearing
2. What cigar you're smoking
3. Judging by the smile or frown, what you did or failed to do on the hole
Provide me with the stats ahead of time, and I'll volunteer to publish the stats after the post, and keep track of the results.
Prizes could include a used cigar stub from the hole, a framed photo of the post, and the grand prize of the year, one of the shirts you wore so the lucky recipient of the prize so it can be used as a smoking shirt. Let me know what you think . . . .

When new, I thought it tasted like meh cheap tobacco, and it was indeed inexpensive back then. When I buy more, I hope I don’t have to wait that long for the new big tins to cellar the 65% Virginias. This stuff is now bursting with flavor.

While I remain convinced that any day I am vertical and mobile is a good day, I do concede some days are better than others. This one wasn’t. No matter, tomorrow will be an entirely new day. Dr. Pepper accompanying, my favorite pipe filled with 2013 Virginia Spice.

On the menu for my evening commute home was a fun little mixture of 5 brothers, Rivertown Crimson Shadow, and C&D The Beast loaded in my nameless French paneled pipe. The mixture has potential but definitely needs more 5 Brothers.

Quite funny. I'm quite blessed to live in Florida where I can enjoy warm weather year round and also be able to play golf with friends 4 days most weeks. I'm smiling regardless of what I scored the previous hole. I have yet to figure out why someone would pay $100 or more and invest 5 to 6 hours of their time to get mad, rage and break clubs. I'm a fairly decent golfer generally shooting 78 to 85 but what I really enjoy is the friends, the sunshine and the beautiful wildlife on the course (even the alligators). And if course, enjoying a couple of Cigars while doing all that.
I think I’m now “caught up,” and the smoke of the moment is Samuel Gawith No. 4 Kendal Brown Twist in the big bowl “EXTRA” sized Jobey sandblasted Shellmoor billiard with saddle stem with sharp, 90-degree transition. This tobacco was made for this big bowl and oversized drilled pipe restored by @98now.
The contrast shows the 90-degree stem transition on the big boy Jobey billiard.
PS LNF from 2019 in a Peterson Dracula 80s. A bit of age does amazing things to this stuff.
A third of a bowl left of year 2016 Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Had a very nice chat with an old friend, and am going to touch up pages on the Archie story I have been doing.
