I was actually surprised at how virginia forward it seemed? At least thats what I detected, its less balanced, sharper, and missed some of the bbq notes i enjoyed from a circa 2016 or so tin

2017 HH Vintage Syrian in my Butz Choquin "Calabash" which I purchased new circa 1985. Pairing with a "The Kotzerke"-- a twist on a Manhattan from Matt's (a Redmond, WA restaurant), featuring Carpano Antica, and Apple and Orange bitters. Named in honor of a deceased friend and patron of the restaurant, I believe. Very tasty all around!

18 mile run! I'm impressed! I'm blown at 1 mile. Around here we have certifiably insane runners who do an annual 100 mile extreme run, on mountain trails, in February.
