There is only one of my over half a gross of Star Grade Lee pipes I can reasonably be certain was made of ancient, oil cured, aged, unstained, unvarnished, and unpainted Pre 54 Algerian briar and I have it full of aged Buoy Gold Ozark Americanizing out on Teardrops Falling in the Snow by the last pretty girl singer along with Wilma Lee Coopef and Rose Maddox who belted out songs and was proud to be called a hillbilly music pretty girl singer. They learned, like my own mother, to perform before electric voice amplifiers.
My mother always advised me to sing to the folks in the parking lot outside the venue.

Hillbilly Muisic replaced Old Time Music and then was called Country Western and finally Country Music.
But twang is all just variations on the Wildwood Flower.
Old time Gospel, dressed up for Saturday night.
