Sutliff 507-c in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard this morning. I went to load the pipe and folded and stuffed a piece of flake into the bottom third. I went to break off another piece of flake but instead it tore lengthwise and I had a 5 inch x 1/4 inch strand so I coiled it into the pipe like a rope or snake until the pipe was full. I don't know if anyone else has done this before but it was new to me and I was surprised by how easily it lit and burned and smoked evenly with consistent air and smoke flow. It proved to be a better smoke. I will be trying this again in the future to try it duplicate it.
