Love your Mariana Trench parallel. I have 3 of these bigbowl jobs, and up 'till now have vastly underused them. They are all superb smokers that give me 2 hour smokes if I too, have the patience to persist. They are also the premium pipes in my collection, a Pete, a Savinelli, and a Brigham. I'm not going to "tweak" them out of my collection - they're just too good and beautiful to do so and would have to by pried out of my dead hands. But definitiely preferring a max 40 minute smoke, I've gravitated to smaller pipes as the norm.Half-bowl of Mac Baren Plumcake in a Barling sandblasted egg after doing a fair bit of post-storm ground repair in the mustang's paddock. The chamber of this pipe gives the Marianas Trench a run for its money--a full bowl could probably last me over two hours if I had the patience (and that's a big "if"). 8/10

You did a stellar job on this repair, and set a good example for all of us. Bravo.Ryback+P in the formerly broken Ropp J07.

By the way, Fiebling’s Dark Brown (cut with a lot of alcohol) is a perfect match for Ropp’s stain on the Etudiant line.
I would say the same here on my end, but that'd be a temptation too irresistible to certain people I know...would have to by pried out of my dead hands.
