Busy day but a good one. Went to church with my sister's family and then we all ate brunch at Page's Okra Grill (fantastic food). Packed up and left for Myrtle Beach to meet at the condo with friends from MS. Catching up happened over supper at LuLu's (mediocre food). Other husband and I took all the kiddos back, cleaned them up and laid them down while the wives picked up groceries for the week.

I'm now enjoying some Plumcake in my Grapeshot on a bench under the breezeway because Ocean 22 doesn't permit smoking from the room's balcony. Still thankful for a bench and cover though as there may be some rain in the forecast later this week.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the first third of this bowl of year 2021 first production Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Molly Danger was in the den for a few hours, and when she went to the bed room, I brought Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in to eat. Harry the Hairy was in much of the day. Abner the Eager was here all afternoon. Sleepy Suzy is by my side.

No, the laserdiscs were not anamorphic—they were CAV, though, not CLV. However, for fans of the films that didn’t appreciate the revisionist history, these sets were (and still are) preferable/desirable.

It’s neat that your dad worked with Lucas! Tell us more.

Thanks, I’m glad you dig it—I always liked how the pipe looked sitting in its leather rest. Darth also has a 9mm Tsuge Kulu Cool Spiral filter in him, which seems fitting. I have a smooth black wooden box for the pipe, too. I commissioned a matching pair of these pipes from Oguz Simsek in the Fall of 2021; one for me, and one for my buddy, Chris G., who is a big Star Wars and Star Trek fan.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave wanted out, and waiting on the doormat was Abner the Eager. Abner is snoozin' on m'lady's chair.
