Woops, I just dropped this in the past, so I’ll now copy it into the present:
Dark Sails in the Briarlee was today’s “usual blends in the usual pipe” commute.
Now in field there’s some HU Dark Moor drying a bit before going into the WDC Milano Hesson (pat 1925).
Blend is pretty smooth, fairly strong, but was a little rough on the palate on my first try. The jarred 100g will probably get some time on the shelf and the other 100g tin will be set aside for some age.
