Enjoyed a tasty red delicious apple, and am smoking Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Just finished smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2018 full bend smooth Terracotta Peterson XL315 System Standard military mount with a nickel cap and a flared black vulcanite p-lip stem. Couldn't post this before now because Long Tail climbed up on my lap and then, my chest, and went to sleep.
Half way through this bowl of year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 egg with a smooth brown front and a black sandblasted back with a dark gold ferrule and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Chatting with the folks who adopted the orange tabbies.
I went out with a pipeful of Match 759 and walked for about a mile or so. Using my Octo billiard. Here's a shot of some stuff. None of the containers hold their original contents.
1950s cutter top Dunhill Early Morning Pipe (a kind gift from a forum member) in an Ashton. Amazing how present the Latakia still is. I've been away at the coast all weekend mostly smoking Amphora Full and Amphora Burley so this is a good change of pace, and an exceptional tobacco.
We had an early lunch. I made some mussels in a wine sauce. Now its time for a pipe and a cup of tea. HU Zulu mixed with Plum Pudding in a Ser Jacopo. For those who have access to both blends its a great combo. More lat than Zulu and more complexity and an added note of sweetness to Plum Pudding
Still chatting, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
Part of my daily routine is to attempt (!) to solve the daily anagram. Daily Anagram - Free Online Games and Free Daily Games Games from Shockwave.com - https://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/daily-anagram
I usually do solve this relatively easy word game within a minute or two.
Smoking Match ERR in my trusty straight apple, rusticated Grabow Westbrook.
I think many of the pipes I favor is because of their stems and buttons. Grabow pipes, especially those made in Chicago, have nice ones. (not suggesting that Westbrooks were made in Chicago)
I just got through lubing my pc keyboard. Keys were kind of hanging. Its a nice old gaming keyboard that isnt made anymore. I didnt want to change it. If you have a nice keyboard and its feeling crappy I highly recommend it. Its worth the time investment.
