Currently trying some of my sample of Caledonian Virginia Flake from 2002 in the Vauen Patina.
Now smoking year 2021 KBV Your Welcome in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Canadian Club 230 eight paneled billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
GL Pease Chelsea Morning from October 2011 in a Dunhill Millennium Shell from 2000
Almost half way through this bowl of year 2014 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just let Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave in to eat.

Just finished smoking year 2007 Astley’s No. 109 in a straight smooth brown circa 1950s-60s BBB Contrast 506 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

They hit Tasmania and particularly us as we are the most westerly point. Antarctica is only 200km further away than Brisbane is in QLD which is about the midway point as you look at a map of Australia.
Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I think the c and d river series have a really appealing for lack of a better term “rustic” flavor that I like.
I don’t exactly know how to describe it but maybe you know what I mean.
I’ve been to edisto island. I’ve fished the edisto river. Whether they meant it or not or I’m putting my own personal embellishments on the vibe, I don’t know, but it fits for me.

I'll revisit this blend one of these days. I may end the day with this smoke if all the cats let me.
