Close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. It's still raining, but it may let up later.

Going to have Seattle Pipe Club Virginia Jazz Signature Series in a Colossus Pipe Factory Pickaxe (Algerian briar, made in France) with a hard rubber stem with orific bit, circa early 1920s.

New batch of Lane 1-Q in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard with 9mm charcoal filter. A Few large twigs in this batch I may have to carve into a tamper . Lane 1-Q attracts monarch butterflys and bees by the way....they float around in the smoke and stumble off....

Well, I fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave a few minutes ago. Just went back out to take out the garbage, and saw one of them left me a dead mouse on the door mat. This makes two days in a row. I suspect it was Daisy, but I don't know for sure. Daisy is still outside, but Tomato's off doing something somewhere. Guess one or both really are grateful. Or maybe they like to trade?
