Gosh, I miss being able to smoke in public! I remember when I was taking computer classes at Durham Tech in NC, we could smoke in the halls! Ashtrays outside classroom. All high schools allowed smoking outside. I wonder how long this will last in France?
Have you tried a blend that’s heavy with Kentucky Dark Fired leaf ? GL Pease Jack knife Plug and Bourbon works for me, I think geography handed us a win.

1995 XMas Cheer in a 2010 Ashton ELX with an L Wood silver band. This pipe is huge by my standards. 
Escudo in a Maddis Apple. Black French Roast coffee on the side.

I’ll definitely be experimenting! Haven’t tried Jack Knife yet, but I’ve got sixpence I can experiment with.
Curiously, what turned me off from the pairing was Old Dark Fired: to me, the combo tasted something like bazooka bubble gum, and I couldn’t get that out of my mind. But I think whatever imparts a creamy texture should work.

Five years ago, on another forum, I got an DM from someone who was interested in a Pete I had purchased. It is a beautiful pipe, but sadly as the years moved along, I was NOT companioning it as I should.
yeah, PAD strikes often.I sent him an email quoting the 5 year old conversation. He said yes he was interested, but was concerned about cost as things have gotten tight. I asked for his address anyway and just gifted it to him. His response was so worth it. He was impressed that someone would remember a request from 2018 & then stunned that it arrived as a freebie.
I have been blessed by people in my life and it was great to be a such to someone else.

There is more smoking going on at our kids school now than at any other time in history. All the high school kids, boys and girls, are vaping tobacco and weed in the bathrooms. Half my daughter's class is high all day. It's ridiculous. Feckless administration and horrible parents. I spoke to the principal and she basically said there was nothing they could do. When they do catch someone, the parents often defend their precious little angels and deny it was them.
You are right, it is RAMPANT.... Yeah, I used to joke with the girls students in my classes who were caught doing so, that they needed to start a female band. Then simply redo the old Brownsville Station & Motley Crue song into, "Vaping in the Girls Room". I said to ask their parents and grandparents. "It'll be Monster hit & major cash for them... since they weren't interested in school anyway, it is an option!" Surprised no one has done it.

Refilled my lighters yesterday & got 2 chunky nails I found that I use as pipe tampers. Not much single use with me!
