Relaxing after a wonderful salad, blue catfish and snow peas dinner with a huge slice of double chocolate mousse cake for dessert. I've just over a quarter of a bowl left of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

St Bruno Flake in a Kaywoodie Silhouette billiard. I usually rub out my flakes of St Bruno and let them dry for at least 15 minutes, but today I was feeling impatient and I kinda dig this more when it isn't quite as dry. Coulda probably benefited from a slightly looser pack, but whatever. Great smoke.

Have just over a third of a bowl left of year 2022 unreleased Sutliff Brown Virginia Flake in a 1909 medium bend smooth dark brown BBB Umbra bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit. Listening to an interview with the great radio star Elliott Lewis.

Lane 1-Q in the barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard ... today I tasted the caramel !! More like chocolate really.
All the baby screech owls are out tonight learning to trill and fly and hunt. I think there are about 6 of them and at least one pair of parents. But it could be two broods and two sets of parents. They can have up to six eggs at a time. They are spread out on three or four properties and I can't track all of them. They come out about 6 p.m. and trill all night for about a month. Last night four were in my trees but tonight just one.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am passing the first third of this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

What do you think of this pipe? They’re so inexpensive and I’ve been considering one. I have a Wally Frank Algerian briar that I’m very fond of.
It’s a perfectly fine smoking pipe. They are of varying quality in terms of drilling. There was a sale of 65% off for the Chicago Pipe Show—I got 24 pipes for $44.33—$1.85 a pipe. I gave several to my friend John so he could have a seven day set. Send me a PM and I’ll send you one.

Did a little snacking, and am now smoking 1960s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. Have enough for one more bowl. I don't smoke this pipe as much as I would like because I dedicated it the original ERR, which is the only blend this pipe has had. Great smoker, and I really like knowing I'll get what I'm supposed to get when I smoke it.
