The ever popular (with me anyway) GLP Barbary Coast, cube burley based, with perique and brandy, in a Sav Oscar Lucite 315 KS smooth prince. This Sav series was designed to be smoked without their balsa filter. We had two power failures over the night, at least one of them because of a driver hitting an electric pole. We put out non-perishable food for the USPS food drive, in a box, and I ran out to put the box in a plastic bag to keep it from getting swamped. They picked it up when they dropped off the mail, so that's accomplished. Enjoying some coffee with my smoke.

I've done quite a bit of traveling in the NC mountains. When my boys were younger we would make stops to let them do jem mining at the tourist traps. I know that material is shipped in and not native to the area but over the years we got some interesting stones, emeralds, garnet, rubies, amethyst, and some unusual stones. I thought about getting them cut or putting them through a tumbler but never did anything with them.
