Going to eat a golden delicious apple, and as I go to work, I'll smoke a bowl of Wilke Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

In honor of Doug Erwin (a moderator at Pipe Smokers Den) who passed away today, I am a few minutes away from lighting up a bowl of his usual smoke: year 2012 Carter Hall in a medium bend 2002 MM Legend cob with a yellow plastic stem.

About a quarter of a bowl left of MacBaren Three Nuns in a 2003 medium bend straight grain Viggo Nielsen sitter with a Cumberland-like acrylic stem. Did a load of dishes, fed Suzy and Molly along with three ferals, and have been reading baseball box scores. I may end the day with this smoke. Haven't smoked this pipe in a long time, and need to take a better photo of it.

Haven't finished reading, so I'm having one more smoke: year 2012 Carter Hall in a medium bend 2002 MM Legend cob with a yellow plastic stem. I didn't write this in my earlier tribute to Doug Erwin, but mostly all he smoked was CH in a cob, which he smoked all day long. Here's one more for you, man. RIP.
