Sutliff Spiced Rum/Rubio - a little coffee/bowl brunch on forum Friday. Catching up here, watching a little of the PGA Championship while enjoying @Streeper541's favorite coffee and channeling some @hoosierpipeguy, who was helpful a few months ago re the Rubio and . . . I gave myself the day off to play in a local charity golf fundraiser! Should be a wonderful Friday!

Smoked some Old Gowrie this evening then finished off with a goodnight smoke of GLP Gaslight. I will qualify as a year older by the time I smoke Pegasus in a Rossi Vittoria Billiard tomorrow morning.

Soon to be "Lord" Paul says it best! The video quality is poor but the sentiment is real!

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2015 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

I just love how I can run this meer al yesterday, finish up a bowl today, and load in a new flake right away...... I just wish it had a bigger bowl.

Carolina red flake with perique in a Don Marshall Dublinesque thing. Quite nice. Lots of spice, and not just from the perique. The red virginia is wonderfully strong and sour, while the perique is peppery. All together the blend is a VaPer with a uniqueness to it - I'd almost be inclined to say it resembles a VaPer with orientals, though I know that isn't the case.

C&D Bijou in a 1936 Yello-Bole Carburetor 4508 Dublin.

The nomenclature seems to nail it down right to 1936… Pat. Applied For - Cured with Real Honey. Carburetor patent was filed in April of 1936. Four digit model numbers were not used after 1936, “Cured with Real Honey” began being used in 1936.

Not that that means a whole lot, but it’s not often that these old pipes can be dated to a particular year.

Did a set of walking reps in 90+ degree weather, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
