One of my objectives has been to attempt to blend an English-style mixture from the raw constituent leaf. This is tricky in particular because processed base components may be pleasant on their own but not necessarily work synergistically with other component leaf. I think this is the first time I can honestly say I've made a mixture that was more than the sum of its parts. Clockwise from noon: bright Virginia, toasted bright, dark air cured, two varieties of Oriental, red Virginia Cavendish, and (center) a conservative dose of Périque and Latakia.
