Now smoking 1970s Philip Morris Revelation in a post-1952 Grant’s Pipe Shop Corinthian Deluxe 409 (made by Comoy’s) smooth brown medium bend bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This should get me to dinner time.
So does it smoke any cooler than a normal pipe? Those are interesting. What year?

One of my objectives has been to attempt to blend an English-style mixture from the raw constituent leaf. This is tricky in particular because processed base components may be pleasant on their own but not necessarily work synergistically with other component leaf. I think this is the first time I can honestly say I've made a mixture that was more than the sum of its parts. Clockwise from noon: bright Virginia, toasted bright, dark air cured, two varieties of Oriental, red Virginia Cavendish, and (center) a conservative dose of Périque and Latakia.

GH Cherry Cream Flake in an AKB Lattice Cherrywood Meerschaum carved by Tekin. Damn, I wish they would bring this back stateside. This is my favorite GH product next to Ennerdale. I hope the folks at Laudisi will request this. It had to be a better seller than some of the GH blends that sit from shipment to shipment.
