Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. El Salvador Dali, neat, is my drink.

So does it smoke any cooler than a normal pipe? Those are interesting. What year?
It is a production pipe designed by Tracy Mincer that was manufactured by the National Briar Pipe Company starting in the early 50's. This one is sooo chucky that it would have been on the cooler side anyway. I have another in a billiard shape that has the three rings and vertical drilled holes that probably does help it to be a cooler smoke on the fingers anyway.

Carter Hall in a MM cob. Was rolling on 17 headed to North Myrtle Beach and passed a Smoker Friendly. Figured I didn't have anything to lose so I did a U turn and pulled in. The first thing I saw when entering was a 14 oz container of Carter Hall sitting beside a 14 oz container of Prince Albert. Got both for $64.00 out the door. Opened the Carter Hall this afternoon but still have the plastic on the PA.

Half way through this bowl of 1960s Half and Half in a tan sandblasted paneled quarter bend 2001 Rinaldo Sahara 2 scoop with a pointed front and a tapered black acrylic stem. Braves and Phillies are 4-4 in the 12th.
