Not haveing a good clean palate to evaluate my first bowl of Rattray's Old Gowrie to compare to Marlin Flake. I opted for P.S. Lux Bullseye Flake in a Forever Stemmed bent Twain cob. I put a little sacrificial Chatham Manor at the bottom, but then decided to cap the starter kindling with a little Chatham Manor also. Getting ready to see if that was a good maneuver. Enjoying with Lagunitas Imperial Stout.
