After a wonderful olio of grilled chicken, snap peas and mushrooms, we went to visit our neighbors down the street.
Practicing proper social distancing, my friend and I smoked some Cuban Partagas Short cigars with copitas of port (Kirkland's Tawny, a terrific, affordable port), while the women spoke of cabbages and kings.

I have several boxes of John Pollock clays in storage in the U.K. I used to get 100 pipes a month in a box packed with saw dust from Pollocks factory on Stott Street, Manchester. If you sent Gordon Pollock Ten Pounds a month he would send you a very regular supply. I rode up to Manchester to the factory once and I met Mr. Pollock circa mid 1980s. You might be interested to know he only died a few years ago. He was very old and there used to be a great video about him on Youtube.
Is it this one?

Last smoke of the day is Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match an undated dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a black vulcanite tapered stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. Doing some research.
