Condor Ready Rubbed in my clay pipe.
Condor Ready Rubbed in my clay pipe.G&H Coniston CP in a meerschaum 'cutty' circa 1870 with a true amber stem and 18ct gold band.
Thanks, I never clench my clay pipes - have you still got any left?No lad. I stopped smoking clay pipes in the mid 1980s when my dentist asked me how I liked the 1850s since I was developing pipe notches on my teeth cause by the stem of the clay pipe grinding a circular hole between the top and bottom sets of my teeth. Apparently it was very common in Victorian England but rarely seen in 80s Thatcherite Britain. Here is an example of a dead Victorian with pipe notches and why I switched to the same style of pipe but made of meerschaum as opposed the endless number of John Pollock clay pipes I used to consume.

I have several boxes of John Pollock clays in storage in the U.K. I used to get 100 pipes a month in a box packed with saw dust from Pollocks factory on Stott Street, Manchester. If you sent Gordon Pollock Ten Pounds a month he would send you a very regular supply. I rode up to Manchester to the factory once and I met Mr. Pollock circa mid 1980s. You might be interested to know he only died a few years ago. He was very old and there used to be a great video about him on Youtube. Thanks, I never clench my clay pipes - have you still got any left?

Thanks!I live in the U.S and return to the U.K once a year or so although I am planning to retire there one of these days soon, probably at the end of the year so just keep in touch and I'll bling you up when the opportunity presents itself.
