As they used to say on Monty Python ....... 'And now for something completely different!'. I am smoking a piece of 2 year old Brown Twist in an Inderwicks briar pipe I purchased in 1985 or maybe 1984 with a replacement stem by Shaintiques. The pipe is stamped 'J Inderwicks Carnaby Street London' and it represents the sole briar pipe I own!

I’m not either, lol. When I first started managing a tobacco shop, years ago, I always wanted a Preben Holm but, it was way beyond my means. I now own two. He was one helluva pipe maker.

Yeah, I was in that exact same boat. Got a handful now. He was sump'n else for certain. Funny thing is I've still got much the same tastes now as I did then. Big swoopy Danishes. I did bid on this one, but my limit was solid, so I unwatched & let it go.
