Its a pretty smooth smoke. There are many rougher blends out there. It has the motor oil and asphalt flavor going, and somehow that's not bad.

Not sure who makes the leaf, I think it came from C&D for some reason. 8oz came dry as Glamis Sand in the summer, I know that.

Good! So if you're smoking in a well ventilated area, you shouldn't have to worry about a lil Condor negatively affecting your fitness. I mean, there are certainly health risks with any type of smoking, but that shouldn't stop you from working out or being fit and active. Some like to have a pipe after a bike ride or vigorous workout. I enjoy a pipe on, or after, a long hike. Nothing better than a pipe and beverage break deep in the middle of the woods or on a mountain top before hiking back.

Shame lockdown has cancelled the living history reenactments I'd normally go to as the Captain Black would be perfect for when I went to see Lace Wars & the Sealed Knot!!!
I first came across Captain Black when a living history re-enactor I met at Bolsover Castle shared his tobacco pouch with me when I wanted something to smoke in my clay pipe.
I've just received my 2 new clay pipes today so they'll be ready for after the lockdown is over and my 1 month abstinence!
The 2 new clay pipes have glazed / painted tips to they'll be just right for smoking my Captain Black in!
I intend to celebrate the end of lockdown in June / July with a couple of pints of real ale and a smoke of Captain Black!!!!
