This might be HU Port Latakia, but I can't be sure. I set it out to dry a little last night and forgot about it until this morning. Smoking it in a 'Bentley Barleywine' (one of countless GBD seconds---great smoking, practical pipes) very near the Mississippi River on a gorgeous sunny day.

I suppose I’m strange, but I rather appreciate a tarnished silver pipe. To me it implies a relaxed existence & shows that the pipe has been loved well.

Did some essential snoozing, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2002 MacBaren Navy Flake in a 2004 Stanwell EM 2004 black sandblasted straight billiard in a gold accent ring on the shank and gold “s” on the black tapered acrylic stem. The sun actually came out to play today, and I got some walking in earlier today.
G&H Brown Twist from 2012 in late 19th century meerschaum pipe which I wouldn't describe as a 'cutty' but more a traditional shape.
Finishing up some Frigate in a Ben Wade Spiral. Good stuff.
