Going for a nice long walk, think I'll sit a little by the creek halfway through and journal, so my walking about combination seems to be my MM Ozark Hardwood, which lives now in a pocket of my backpack and has finally stopped tasting of varnish, with a bit of Haunted Bookshop from my pouch. A thermos of a nice broad leaf Orange Pekote which I won't mind drinking a little cool.
I've really liked my MM Ozark, it's a sturdy compact pipe.

I thought I was the only one that smoked a La Rocca. I have that same shape in a smooth finish, different line.

Thumbs up on the pipe.

Not sure how you feel about it it's qualities, but I find mine to be just as good a smoker as any of my Savinelli/Stanwell/Peterson's that I have paid double or more for.

Tried to rescue an injured squirrel. Had two broken front legs and had been injured a while apparently. Luckily he could be put out of his misery and suffer no more. No idea where he came from or had been hiding.
After delivering to a wildlife rescue soaked with rain smoking 2018 St. James Flake from my lightweight Danish billiard.

I really dig it! In fact, I'm about to load it up for a second smoke. I recieved a few La Roccas in an estate lot with just minor stem oxidation and a little rim marking. The others are a different series with LR on the stem, but if they smoke nearly as well as this one I'll be stoked!
