Enjoyed a tasty late lunch, and am now smoking McClelland No. 2020 Matured Cake in a 1970s small bowl smooth medium bend Danish Sovereign XXX 324 volcano sitter with a black vulcanite saddle-like stem. Have enough maybe to fill this small bowl.
Old Troost Special Cavendish in a Yorkist Dr. McQuade. Found the Troost in an opened dried out tin in a very depressing small Florida town. Rehydrated magnificently. Later versions of Troost Special Cavendish aren't so pleasant.
Sombremesa Corona Grande. What a disappointment. I mean, it was a pleasant smoke, but it was just one dimensional. A DEEEEEEEP, espresso bomb with hints of baker's chocolate, a little cream, and an occasional blast of pepper and a suggestion of sweetness. It was just that all the way down. It was good, just not worth the premium price for that flavor profile.
About a third of a bowl left of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a 2003 medium bent straight grain military mount Two dot 2 P. Ardor Venere Extra Bucaneve signed by Dorelio Rovera with a silver ferrule and a black acrylic stem.

Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake scented in a Briar Works prince. Earl grey tea on the side. Absolutely gorgeous evening here in Maryland with temps still hanging around 72 degrees. Perfect evening to smoke on the deck.
