Went back to work on Tuesday after 7 months off with a broken ankle. It's been tough . I get to work 25 minutes early so this morning I had a big hyperbole of G&H Bosun Cut Plug in my Falcon , lasted until the bell went and made me a little light headed.
At 10 o'clock break I had a bowl of G&H black cherry Irish twist in my apple bowl falcon.
Around 11.30 I snuck out and smoked some Condor mixed with St.Bruno ( last bits in pouches) in the falcon with apple bowl.
When I got home at about 1.30 I rewarded my self with Bosun Cut in my Stanwell with a glass of cider.

I've passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, and all the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager. Tomato the Brave is extra hyper today, jumping from spot to spot around the den, including three landings on my chair, one of which durn near scratched my arm. That is one happy fella.

After seeing several Falcon pipes posted here, and reading a few reviews on them, I decided to take the plunge and pick one up.

Therefore, on the menu for this morning commute was C&D Billy Budd loaded in my hunter falcon. So far I really dig it!

Happy Friday everyone^^

I have the same pipe in brown. It's my favourite of the three Falcons I own. A Meer-lined bowl works especially well with mine. You'll love it, especially with aro-codgers like SWR and English/Navy categories. 👍👍

Day off today, getting ready to host a bunch of folks to celebrate my brother’s memory. He would have been 58 March 4th. And so we march forth as he would have wanted. We’ve been doing this yearly since he passed.

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Lunch will be ready soon. Harry the Hairy stood driveway guard while Tomato the Brave walked a little with me. He was avoiding Harry, and wanted a little more food, so I brought him in the eat. Harry is eating for the second time this afternoon outside. He's not a big eater, but he sure is hungry today.

No pipe as yet this morning . . . . will wait to afternoon as I'm about to enjoy a Phillie's Blunt Grape.

However, I did get a fantastic surprise yesterday. In my Quarterly budgeted-for Tobacco order from the Reserve store, I snagged (at reasonable Canadian prices, ie $50 bucks a tin, TWO tins of the now discontiued Bengal Slices, and one tin (all they had) of Bourbon Bleu. plus a raft of my favourite cheap cigars. I now have more Bengal Slices than Black Frigate, and the same amount I have of Mad Fiddler.

Puts me in a great mood . . . . I can stretch those two tins out a year at the same rate of consumption I consume MF and BF. The availability of all of these tobaccos is erratic from this source, and changes all the time. Guess I was in the right place at the right time! 🤣
