Now smoking Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Watching Green Acres with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on her blanket. The others are out somewhere.

Now smoking year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager. Tomato the Brave was especially hungry, but I think he's full now. He's snoozin' by my feet.

It's so pipe dependent. My Sarome was king for the longest time but the Invicta has trumped it - something about the particular briar brings out all of the sweetness and spice in great intensity. I'll never knock the Sarome though, great smoker for bringing all the flavours through "in phase", no matter the blend. Yet my Petersons, Savinelli, even the Dunhills can't quite achieve this. Oh the mysteries...
