I had some HU Makhuwa in my shopping cart last month and took it out for something else. How is it? What's it like? Beautiful pipe by the way, colors on the bowl are outstanding.
Thanks,
The Makhuwa is fantastic for me.
It lacks what Bob’s Chocolate Flake has but has what Bob’s Chocolate Flake doesn’t 😂 it’s Burley, Red Virginias and Perique with a mild hint of Chocolate, no bite and the drier it is the better it gets. For me it’s a nice change up from Bob’s and I enjoy bouncing between the two.
Not a replacement for Bob’s but a distant cousin who decides to stop by unannounced…….
@Sigmund turned me onto this blend and I’m glad he did.

I smoked the Peterson Sherlock Holmes "Hudson" pipe I bought for my 70th. birthday, nine years ago, and shared my birthday celebration today with my ZOOM buddies. I had a bowl of (you guessed it) Samovar. A mug of Jack Daniel's Tennesse Whisky Coffee was my beverage.
Now I'm off for a dinner with my family.

Ohh Yehhh, I’m totally digging this Horizons. The latakia is very… like the smell of telephone poles being sprayed with creosote. Evergreen, bright and spicy… so having it again in my Black Ice Spigot. Actually, I can’t remember what I named this pipe. Ha
