I don't often smoke indoors, but it's such a wonderfully pleasant early spring night tonight that I decided to break out the smooth Savinelli 401 Churchwarden and park it on the couch with the windows open; puffing on some Orlik Golden Sliced and sipping a glass of Simply orange juice while I enjoy the cool evening breeze wafting in.

In my quest to like plum pudding (since I have a big jar) Ive added some perique. That was better but it seemed to also bring forward more of the floral note and to me it was a tad soapy. Now Ive tossed in a bit of Fayyum Kake to darken the blend. Its a very smoky and dark blend. So far it seems to be having good results.
Im testing it out in a Svendborg.
Next time I will try just the fayyum additions. That seems to add another layer and make it richer.

5:00 AM Pegasus on the porch, in the usual Morgan Bones Milan.
2015 Heinrich's Dark Strong in a GBD Granitan 9618. Not sure it's my favourite pipe to look at, but it smokes incredibly well. I find the perspex stems more of a pain than they're worth. This bowl should last the rest of the morning.
