Sounds like a pretty nice afternoon!

I'm just getting down to the bottom of the Pete in my post, the final quarter of which remains haunted by the ghost of Condor original ready rubbed despite the fact that I ran out several years ago.

I can think of worse ways of spending an afternoon than getting to enjoy a pipe while working on projects that have personal meaning to me.

I'm still young on my pipe smoking journey, but enjoying it immensely. Almost all of the pipes not gifted to me have been $30 or less. I've only "splurged" twice. This was one of those splurges. I'd like to take better pics and post about it in the "Showoff Your Dunhill" thread.

I picked it up for a really good price. Honestly was hard to turn down. I think it still has some leftover wax on it that I need to take care of. But, I love the birdseye on this thing and it's massive. Provides a nice long smoke.

More Newminster SNF. This time in my 1980 Dunhill Root Briar 52051.
