Wessex pipes have been made by more than one factory. Around 2005 we started to see Wessex blasts in about 5 or 6 shapes with 3 digits which were made by Chacom. Old bowls allegedly, with handcut rubber cumberland. They will be marked "Made in France". More recently these pipes in a similar style have been made in Italy . I don't know if it's Lorenzetti. I believe the stems are acrylic but have a cumberland look. The reports on the Chacom made pipes were that they were good pipes for the money.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have about a third of a bowl left of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Just cleaned some pipes. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

@Ahi Ka Nice pipe and good tobacco choice. How long did it take you to smoke so as to give me an idea of my smoking times I should be aiming for. Sent you a PM regarding our smoke off. It looks a bit smaller than my Pollock clay cutty but bigger than my Jamestown clay.
I await your reply and look forward to hearing from you - and the Clay King hasn't broken any clay pipes since Nantwich nearly 2 months ago!

3 days on and off. But in a single sitting probably 30mins-1hour. I predominantly clench and walk around while smoking my clay, but I’m going into intensive rocky hibernation training now.

this is from Greywoodie and it's a terrific smoker. a bit bigger pipe than I usually like but it's for smoking in a chair.

I imagine "Made in Italy" would be stamped on those Wessex pipes of Italian production. Do yours have "Made in Italy" stamped on them?

Did a set of walking reps, and the strong winds and I smoked a bowl of unreleased 2021 Sutliff VaPer in a slight bend rusticated 1979 Savinelli Estella 310 poker with a brown pearl acrylic saddle stem.

The stamp is "Italy", not "Made in Italy."
