Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a couple navel oranges on the side. I just finished smoking Erik Stokkebye Resolution 4th Generation Small Batch in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a dark tortoise shell colored tapered acrylic stem. Going to post my review at TR soon. Larry's El Salvador Dali, neat, is my drink. Watching the documentary The Automat.

Forum Friday! Took a "deep" dive into my cellar and will enjoy cellared blends this afternoon. Since the way back machine only goes to 2021, lol, the first one is a bit of a cheat, but hey, I have it jarred and obtained it from a forum member on the FS on here sometime back - '09 Mac Baren Scottish Blend in the recently neglected IMP. Going to have Wilke No. 515 in a Peterson’s Pipe of the Year 2021 Terracotta Dutch Billiard (122/500, which I like to think of as a Bizarro World version of a 221B Baker Street numbered edition) 4AB. This tobacco is from December 2021—I’m not sure if this is the true original recipe, or the one that had the oft requested increased rum content that someone mentioned here the other day, before there was the version that was marked as having twice the rum that @JimInks has been smoking lately. It seems pretty heavy on the rum and I suspect I might enjoy it with less rum; there’s an odd sensation on the tongue with this blend. Maybe it’s the booziness.

Jim’s right, I also have 515 cellared from 2021 and it’s the extra rum - have some of the new original on the way as I type according to the post office. And ditto on letting some air a bit - I like it boozy but John tends to have them pretty well soaked which Inthink is great - better then erring the other way, IMO. My No. 125 Terracotta is ready for later (so like cousins, lol) - had I awakened three minutes earlier when they dropped in the middle of the night on SP EU I’d have had the 221, lol, and was hoping to see it somewhere, but by the time I clicked through the buying process it was gone (like a fool I clicked back to make sure I got a free tamper and already had two of them, haha).

Working a short day at home today. Smoking some Haunted Bookshop in an S&R bulldog.

Never had Haunted Bookshop but there is an actual and iconic one in Iowa City. If you don’t like cats, don’t go in!7D645F29-723F-4A6C-86C8-857A78817072.jpeg81EF3CFF-32BE-4D37-A73F-94E2503A402D.jpeg
