Red carpet in a Peterson sand blasted squire
I think this blend should shine in a clay. A milder blend but lots of flavor.
It's not quite evening here, but I think it can never too early for a VaPer. 4th Gen Evening Flake in the pre-Cadogan Comoy's Sandblast medium billiard.

Wilke No. 515 now is "back" to the original, in a sense. So if you are like me and would have ordered No. 515 in the past couple of years, it was not the same as the original blend, rum had been added a little bit (not just special orders) over time over a few years to accommodate demand preferences for more rum, but was still called No. 515. So according to John, the No. 515 I ordered in 2021, for example, would have had added rum vs. the original (didn't request it, it was just there). Recently folks were asking for a little less rum, so easier to carry the original as it was traditionally made and the more recent version now the "double shot". Clear as mud!
Since what I have jarred from a couple years ago is really the 2X, just ordered the regular and happy to now have both. Probably a little geeky, but I found the history interesting. Sorry for the diversion.

Same Peterson 317 pipe today, was in my jacket pocket along with Wilke TC Rum & Maple- sooo good!
A little bit of Escudo for 2020 in a great Castello sea rock briar kk apple. Va/Per’s really shine in this little pipe. 
5th Smoke in the Sea Rock. Breaking in nicely. Almost at a full load.
Cherrywood pipe with a blend in the rough: Sutliff 3oz Virginia Slices, 0.5 oz Turkish, 1 oz Maryland, 2oz Cherry Bon Bon. This blend hasn't married yet and is still fighting. I'll check on it in a few days.
PS Nougat in my unfinished Savinelli with some bourbon

Continuing #meerschaumMarch, here is some Carolina Red Flake (2022) from a nameless but well built estate meer I bought last year. The previous owner passed in 1980, and his collection was on eBay recently. So we know it at least dates back pre-1980
Going to have Sutliff Molto Dolce in a Meerschaum Figural Skull (with a replacement acrylic stem) from the late 19th or early 20th Century. The “VCF” hallmark on the electroplated band suggests this was probably made by Vincent-Coutier et Fils from Saint-Claude (it came in an Au Pacha tobacconist case with a Geneva, Switzerland address).
