I'm posting a tad early, but when the first day of March hits, I'll be working and be past the half mark on this bowl of Wilke Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem. And, listening to The Adventures of Superman.

We had a break in the rainy weather today, a perfect opportunity for Lunting with SPC Plum Pudding in a Savinelli 122 KS pot. This pipe is new to me, purchased from @mkelaw (Thank you Mr Neeb!)

Carter Hall in a new Missouri Meerschaum Zenon hardwood. First smoke out of this pipe and I have to say that it was sublime. I was expecting burnt varnish flavor but got an incredible rich, creamy smoke that I couldn't believe was regular old Carter Hall.

Half way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker in a 1990 straight dark brown Commemorative reproduction of the 1890 Peterson Patent System 12393 stack billiard with a silver band and a bowed black acrylic 32 AB long stem p-lip. Snacking follows this smoke.

Posting about 12 hours late, but I welcomed in March this morning with MB navy flake in an old orlik bent billiard. Whenever I smoke at sunrise, which is seldom, I wonder whether it is the first bowl smoked in the world on that day.

A third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just finished this Archie story, and this bowl of Wilke 10 Downing Street in an undated straight, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard billiard with a brown accent on the tapered black vulcanite stem.

Now smoking first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in a straight smooth brown 1920s-30s Sasieni patent 8 dot Marborough lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Last smoke of the day is Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.
