Half way through this bowl of year 2016 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

First smoke today is C&D Carolina Red Flake (2018) in a CAO Bekler. Black French Roast coffee on the side.
Finally, a break in the weather! Drying a couple flakes of Stonehaven (sample), to go in my Stefano bent Rhodesian. Still snow on the ground, even after all the rain, but it's much warmer today, which is obviously a good thing. This is only my 2nd bowl of the month.
Bird report: California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, California towhee, California thrasher, White-crowned sparrow, Oak titmouse, Dark-eyed junco, Spotted towhee, and Northern flicker.
Reading about the bank failures of this week. Very interesting! I knew the band-aids put in place back in '08 would start to peel off eventually. Personally, I would welcome a return of affordable housing prices a la 2010/2011.

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. It's time for some lunch.
