I got 2 in the late 70s-early 80s when they first came out. That is a neat looking pipe!
According to the name on the photo, she should be named Brunnhilde, which is quite a Northern Europe or Wagner's name, derived from the Nibelungen ring. Her keepers deliberately imitated stage stills from the early 20th century. The music used when this character appeared is quite famous, and it appears in many movies, the most famous of which is this one:This feline is clearly from “Purrr-sia”
or maybe Cat-Mandu!
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
@canucklehead Nice pipe and carved tamper; I like the relief moulded clays. I'll have to get a relief moulded clay. I had one similar but it got broken...Mixture 79 in an Old German clay. I think I like this stuff, I kind of like the old timey root beer smell. I'll time my clay smoke for @halfdan

@OzPiper Definitely an interesting pipe! I'll have to try blending pipe baccy; I'd like to make a "Clay King" blend with a golden coloured Virginia / Cavendish. The commercial pipe baccy most like "Clay King" is SG Black Forest.A second bowl in this Franken-clay - Cutty clay bowl, bamboo extension, acrylic tortoise shell stem with silver ferrule

Beautiful 25 mile cruise around the neighborhood! Ended at my favorite coffee shop...My kind of afternoon!
@canucklehead How long did it take you to smoke? I managed 37 minutes out of a clay pipe of St Bruno yesterday.Mixture 79 in an Old German clay. I think I like this stuff, I kind of like the old timey root beer smell. I'll time my clay smoke for @halfdan

Only 25 minutes, I smoked too fast.@canucklehead How long did it take you to smoke? I managed 37 minutes out of a clay pipe of St Bruno yesterday.
I'll have to have a bowl of SG Black Forest in the clay next.@OzPiper Definitely an interesting pipe! I'll have to try blending pipe baccy; I'd like to make a "Clay King" blend with a golden coloured Virginia / Cavendish. The commercial pipe baccy most like "Clay King" is SG Black Forest.
@canucklehead Not bad going; you did well. I can smoke a cigarette in one drag like Tom; cruel to Jerry using him to lick his cigarette paper...
@OzPiper Highly recommended by the Clay King himself!I'll have to have a bowl of SG Black Forest in the clay next.
