Cromwell the meddler, Cromwell the busybody, Cromwell the puritanical Jack!
Smashed up Hereford cathedral he did. Desicrated tombs and all sorts. Absolute shower!!
Clan smoker, I believe. Visited his lovely old house in Ely, near Cambridge. Garden was full of old tins of clan & broken clays. The old saying holds true now as it did then. Never trust a man who smokes clan!
@simong I've smoked Clan before; does that mean you can't trust me?
I've noticed St Bruno is slow burning compared to Clan; I can see why they used St Bruno RR for the clay pipe slow smoking contest and Clan for the fast smoking championship:)
Going to see how long I can make a clay pipe of St Bruno RR last!

@simong I haven't broken any clays since Nantwich!

@Fralphog Never heard of this breed before! Sounds like a USA equivalent of the Wiltshire Horn, another naturally shedding breed:
Many thanks!
Very interesting.
I went to the link and it appears that the Katahdin have genes from this breed.
The Wiltshire Horn is one of the foundation breeds for Katahdin, Wiltipoll, and Easycare breeds and the Hampshire breed along with Southdown sheep and the Berkshire Nott.[4]

Are/were they pets or food, or both? It seems unusual to name them if they're dinner.
The two ewes are our breeding stock. They will be viable breeder ewes for several years. This is their fourth lambing. I don’t name the lambs. Some are for butcher and a few I sell as breeding ewes. I did have three ram lambs a few years ago that earned the moniker, The Three Stooges. 🤣

Did a second set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Friends bought a lamb and had their neighbor, a 4H kid, raise and show it.
Its name was Barbie-Q, which we felt was a little much.
