Actually get to sit back and relax in one of my favorite chairs this morning - decided the Peterson Bard 03 and this mellow Sutliff SPD tobacco would be a good way to ease into this Saturday - frigid, 30 mph winds, the wife went off on an overnighter awhile ago so I'm just not feeling the albeit heated garage. I'll have to do some cooking and baking tomorrow morning to clear the air!

Peterson Deluxe Navy Rolls in a Pre 1980 GBD flame grain, new blend, new pipe. This tobacco is superb! I’d love to try the Dunhill version some day! This beautiful pipe was a steal! I’m feeling quite lucky and grateful to have found this hobby at this time in my life and that I can afford to dive deep into it. I’ve achieved a lot of my life goals already and have felt aimless more then a little the past few years. This passion for pipes is a welcome change! Something to chase!

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2016 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

The Bard has a relatively small bowl (need to find one with a larger - 68 calling?). Now settled in for some serious relaxing with the '22 PPN big dog and a very mellow favorite from @John Brandt --- Wilke 8th Street. I thought I'd dive back into the straight Vas today, but not feeling it yet.
