Rattray’s Dark Fragrant in a 1972 Dunhill Root Briar. Cold and windy after a gorgeous sunny and blue skied day.
D&R Ryback in a recently repaired/reglued/reputtied homemade Taber corn cob pipe. This ugly little turd pipe has been on many adventures and has been soaked in lakes, creeks, swamps, garden mud and barnyard crud.
A third of the way through this bowl of Watch City Old Black Magic in a 1970s slight bend smooth Danish Sovereign XXX 309 with a flat front sitter with a black vulcanite stem.
Scotch Flake after dinner in a straight ‘22 Masta, now having a last smoke of 1792 in a Bulldog Bantam. Next lot of ‘92 I get is gonna be plug so I can have a little more control over the cut. I take it it’s just as good or better from what I’ve read.
Squadron Leader in a smooth Stanwell Billiard shape shape 12. Pretty small diameter in the chamber but is one of my dedicated English/Balkan pipes. Chamber diameter and blend type in my opinion has little corelation. Packing and pace make the difference and this Squadron Leader is damn good right now in this pipe.
Just finished D&R Ryback in a Baki meer. Next up Three Sails in the same pipe

Another bowl of HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed into a Meer after a long walk in the forest with my GF , she smoking G&H Kendal Dark into a Kiseru pipe she buyed from Japan .
Just lit a bowl of 2017 AJ’s Vaper in a Sav 320KS Roma. I keep reaching for this when I’m in the mood for a something a little sweet and it keeps on delivering. Gonna have to add a couple more jars to the cellar.
Big 'n Burley in a medium (4) straight apple meer and that will end my smoking day.

Mac B's Stockton in a Stanwell Authentic Natural, (mod 15), bent. One of two pipes as an Anniversary present from my wife (last week).
I really love round traditional clay stem but this one is also a keeper , very nice to clench !
