Loading up some Captain Boomer, heading out to the deck before I pick meetings back up at 5pm. New Northern Briars Magnum.

Sometime you get a pipe that brings a bit of whimsy but still holds true to tradition. And sometimes you get a large pipe that still somehow feels magically light for the size. This is neither of those times.
Was going to write that your pipe reminds me of those pics of the Coronavirus but on second thoughts it's clearly inspired by a sea urchin shell

Rattray's Stirling Flake in a Stanwell billiard. I'd heard this might be a clone of the original Irish Flake produced by K&K... I dunno. To me it tastes just like the current version of Irish Flake. Which is not a bad thing since the current version of IF is excellent, easy to find and relatively affordable for a tinned tobacco.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with a few pineapple chunks for dessert. I'm now smoking Mac Baren Three Nuns Green in a 1970s slight bend medium brown Caminetto business 134 poker with a pearl gold acrylic stem. Going to brew some Community Coffee soon.
