That shape looks like it clenches well. I've browsed those and the 904 quite a bit. They're both attractive shapes to me.
It does. It’s also perfect for driving because the bowls rim is exactly the right level for easy relights. Not so high that you have to cross your eyes like a straight pipe, not so low that you have to look down like a full bent. Just right.

I have owned both 920s and 904s and prefer the 920, but mostly just for aesthetic reasons.

See just from browsing im tending to lean more towards the 904. It just seems... I dunno, more full, if that makes sense? The 920 seems like a more sleek, streamlined version. Purely aesthetic, like you say. I'll probably just end up getting both shapes. I wish i had remembered my attraction to them earlier because I'm all tapped out on my PAD limit at the moment. I say this but in all actuality I'll probably have them in my cart by morning. I wish Rossi did these shapes.

Haha, I know the feeling!

And you are correct, the 920 is quite similar but less bulky in the stummel and more streamlined. Chamber, however, is still plenty generous.

Just don’t buy a 904 from @alaskanpiper - he never delivers! I’m about to open a case with eBay!!

Now smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli Hand Made flat bottom sitter with a square shank and a black vulcanite saddle stem. This is my other EGR dedicated pipe when I want to spend a little more time with the blend. I'm watching Robinson star in Big League. It's not much of a movie, but he's in it and it's baseball! Thought the tobacco was appropriate to smoke while I watch Eddie G.

Spent Tuesday afternoon in the sunny, 60 degrees of my backyard, having a mug of Barrie House Hawaiian Kona coffee, while reading a few chapters of Vincent Starrett's The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. I smoked a couple bowls of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a MM Country Gentleman with a bent bit. With my pup sitting in the chair beside me, basking in the warmth, and my wife lounging on her chaise in the bright sun, it was an idyllic scene.
