Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am almost a third of the way through this bowl of tweaked Wilke Beeker Street in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer with a black ferrule and vulcanite stem in the military mount style. John Brandt has changed the topping to nougat.

Where NY, CT & MA meet
First taste of Wilke Lizzie Blood Red English in a Charatan Executive extra large Dublin. This is another fantastic blend from Wilke, a subtly sweet English, great overall flavor and balance, topping is more of a background player but really compliments the blend well. Could use some more dry time as it’s fairly wet in the bag. I would definitely want some of this on hand for regular smoking. @jiminks had a hand in developing this blend. Good stuff! A busy day at work, even thought it’s from home means I’m just now getting to have the first bowl of the day. Accompanying me to my afternoon meeting is a Bones bent bulldog loosely filled with Windjammer. Still trying to figure out the nuances of packing, lighting, and puffing this blend, but enjoying it nonetheless.

Now smoking Wilke PBP beta test in a 1979 Ascorti Business KS Hungarian with a black pearl acrylic stem. For a decade and a half, this was one of my most heavily smoked pipes, but not in recent years. Such a good smoker that needs more attention than I have given it lately.
