Finished the job I was working on, enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am part way through this bowl of year 2014 4Noggins Thomas Blend in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. I'll probably end the day with this smoke.

I’ve been watching Formula 1 Drive to Survive.

Great show! ?

They change the rules and restrictions on the cars every year but it looks like they got it right this time. The last few years were more like a procession than a race. Lewis Hamilton is bloody amazing, not a ounce of fear in that man.

Whole leaf blend. Full english crumble cake. This one really hits the spot, covers all the bases.

30% latakia
20% red and bright stoved virginia
20% kentucky
15% perique
10% prelip and basma oriental
5% black stoved red virginia

Breaking in a pride cob with this blend. I notice lots of people aren't much into cobs and latakia blends, but I'm on a cob kick lately and had a fresh one sitting around and may as well try it out. It's smokin just fine and dandy. Don't think a ribbon cut would perform as well in such a small bowl but the melded flavours of the crumble make it work.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but do you actually farm tobacco?

I find them similar, but i do think they're different, even if just slightly. I've only smoked a few bowls so far so i can't really put my finger on it, but it's there. I'm pretty well stocked up on Irish Flake so when i finish the two tins of Stirling i have i don't think I'll be hunting it down again. How do you like it?
Initially, I thought they were exactly the same. I still think they're almost the same, but I think Stirling might be just a touch sweeter to my tastes and when rubbed out, it seems like Stirling might have some brighter flecks in there. Wish I had a tin of Irish Flake on hand to compare. I like them both, but don't see enough difference to elevate one over the other. I'll just go with whichever is cheaper and available, which will probably be the Irish most of the time.

Now smoking Rattray's Stirling Flake in a Peterson Newgrange 107.
