After a week of spring weather it's snowing again here in the Midwest, so again I'm just reaching for what's on hand. Rustica in a Savinelli Tignanello. I bought this pipe many years ago, along with a lovely Ben Wade (my first) sandblasted paneled billiard and several Germain tins, as well as a tray of Penzance. Life was a lot simpler then. I lived alone near the Pacific ocean and spent all my time smoking my pipe and walking on the beach for hours without speaking to a soul.
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm smoking Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Enjoying a visit from one of college roommates.
Close to finishing this bowl of D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.
