I haven’t seen or smoked this pipe in well over 20 years. I probably picked it up at the old Kirsten store when it was located on the waterfront at Ballard’s Fisherman’s Terminal here in Seattle. I came across it while searching for another long lost pipe, a bent billiard meerschaum. I also found the meerschaum!

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight 1960s Lane era Charatan black with burgundy undertone sandblasted billiard 420 with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
This morning was DTM Salty Dogs as I walked the dog from my Republic Period Peterson K-Briar 05s
Then 5 year old SG Cabbies Mixture from my Republic Period Peterson Sytem Standard 312.
Then was SG Firedance Flake from my GBD London Made 135. Insane wind as I walked the dog this bowl only lasted about 15 minutes!

This is just a lovely pipe and it's smoking fantastically.
I'm not sure:
1) How I got such a good deal on it.
2). Why no one else here didn't beat me to it.
