Morning Musings: Up early today. Did some thread viewing and emoticonning while having my morning stogie, this time a Phillie's Blunt Chocolate.

Method to my madness. Five packets of tobacco seeds arrived a few days ago, and my potted Izmir Orientals (pictures of which I've posted here many times) are ready to hang now, leaves turning. Need the pots for starting the new plants in a friends greenhouse. Have another packet of Izmir (very sweet tasting oriental) and two packets of burley and two of virginias, one heirloom and one varietal of each.

Planning some mixes currently, and ground up three Phillie's Blunt Chocolate cigars in my grinder. Just jarred them. We don't have, as far as I can tell, a chocolate based pipe tobacco available in Canada. Been dying to try Bob's Chocolate Flake but import prices are prohibitive.

So I'm going to proceed, for now, along the same lines as I did with the Grape flavoured mix I came up with a couple of months ago, which is really not bad at all and I've put it in rotation. . . . should have a chocolate prototype in the next day or two, and will post a smoke of it then. Was going to post a pic of the cigar, but it came to mind that my avatar picture is the very same Phillies Blunt Chocolate, so I already have and so won't. Cheers for now.
